Today we were blessed to participate in the Brigham City Temple Dedication. I hope each of you were able to go and participate in this sacred event. Please leave a comment sharing your thoughts about the dedication, what stuck out to you, and what you felt during it.
For me, I loved hearing the reminders that the temple is a place of peace reverence. In the noon session, Elder L. Whitney Clayton spoke about the Manhattan NY temple and how it was carefully built with soundproof walls to block out all the noises from the crowded NY streets. It made me think that when we go to the temple we should bring our "soundproof ears"-- ears that will help us block out the sounds of the world so that we are able to "hear" the silence and reverence of the temple.
