Auction Ideas

Our Girls Camp Auction is on April 27th- just 1 month away! Each young woman needs to donate something to auction off. This could be something you make, a service you provide, etc. Think of the talents you have and the things you like to do. Use these to come up with an idea.

Remember, the more unique, the more money it will often make!

Here are some ideas that everyone has brainstormed to get you started:
Jewelry/Accessories:
*beaded jewelry
*woven jewlery
*string bracelets
*handmade rings
*head bands
*hair clips

Hand sewn items
*quilts and blankets
*bags/ homemade purses
*clothing
*pillowcases
*hot pads
*burp cloths

Other hand-made items/Art ideas
*painted boxes
*photography (frame it and it will sell for more)
*art/drawings/paintings (frame this too!)
*cake pops
*homemade dinner or your "specialty" dessert

Services
*babysitting
*house cleaning
*car washes
*wash the dog
*yard work
*plant flowers (they provide the flowers, you plant them)
*poop scooper
*dog walkers
*taking care of pets/plants/house while they are on vacation

Other ideas
*You could offer a class of some sort (think of your talents) for kids. Instead of the highest bid
winning it, you could offer it for a set number of participants. Example: You could offer a 2-3
hour soccer clinic for kids. The first 6 kids (or however many you want) to sign up for it would
all get it. You could do this for a sport you play, dance, a mini day camp for kids, etc. This
could also be done with a partner-- you wouldn't have to do it by yourself!
