We are daughters of our Heavenly Father

In June I was at Youth Conference with Kenzie. While waiting for the Manti Pageant to start, Kenzie, Kelli and I were walking around. Kenzie was looking for "squirrels' (her code word for cute boys.) We saw a boy walking our way in a Jordan sweathshirt, like the one she was wearing. We told Kenzie that she needed to talk to him. So, she turned on the charm and started talking to him, only to find out that he was 13 years old!
When we did that activity where we did random contests, like shooting rubber bands at soda cans, or trying to cover your partner in toliet paper before the time ran out, I remember I kept doing horrible on each one I tried, I kept getting a score of zero on everyone. We were on teams and Kenz was on mine, and even tho I did awful each time I came to sit down she would give me a highfive and said I did great. And then once I got a score of one and she high fived me again and said "Yay! Were improving!". :)
Kenzie was one of my best friends. It was because of her that I went to Girls Camp, because before I did I didn't know anyone there but her. She would always ask me if I wanted to go to young womans with her and she is really the person who got me to go. She as you say it, took me under her "wing". She was always a great friend, always upbeat and was always caring if I was alright. <3 you Kenz!!!!
I miss her. She was an example to me. Always befriending everyone she could. Every memory I have of her is noticing this light she had. She was a beautiful girl I love her. I want to keep her example moving forward, show everyone what we can do when we can make new friends.

This is so crazy I miss her so much... Every time I see someone wearing purple I think of her and her example. I'm so glad that she is with our father in heaven now because that's where she should be.
