Modest is Hottest!

On Tuesday we had a modesty fashion show where we designed and made our own "clothes" out of newspaper. We divided into groups and each group was responsible for making examples of modest and immodest clothing.

Here we have Sarah wearing a very modest and fashionable dress suitable for prom or any other school dance. Her ensemble was complete with coursage, veil and shoes!

Next came Chandrielle wearing a great example of "what not to wear" to prom. The short length and lack of sleeves make this inappropriate for a beautiful latter-day saint young lady.
Here is Danielle modeling a beautiful and very fashionable dress appropriate for church. The v-neck was a little revealing, so she added a tank underneath for hide anything she doesn't want showing! Her headpiece added just the right accents!

Olivia nicely demonstrated a dress we wouldn't want to see at church (or anywhere for that matter!) The bishop would quickly call you into his office to discuss the bare shoulders and lack of material in your dress! Although many dresses are made this way, you can always find a cute little something to put over it to make it more modest!

Kie, beautiful as always, came next with an outfit just right to wear to school. It is fashionable, yet still covers you in all the right spots! The flower at the waist is a nice accent!

Our last model was Saya, who's outfit for school left little to the imagination and lot to be desired. The lack of material covering her belly, legs, shoulders, and chest might have you sent to the principal's office! It'll certainly draw attention, but NOT the kind you want to have!

Thanks to all our models for being good sports and helping us learn about modesty!
Remember: Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes: if you can't touch one of these body parts without revealing some skin, you need to reconsider your choice of clothing!

THANKS FOR BEING WONDERFUL EXAMPLES OF MODESTY!!!
