Weekly Personal Progress

Today Brother Foster gave a great lesson on persevering. One thought that stuck out to me was his quote "Practice Makes Permanent." When we spend time on things that are difficult for us, and practice them, they will become easy for us--become habit.

This week for Personal Progress, open to the Index on page 98 and find a topic that challenges you- something you would like to work on to make permanent in your life. Choose a value experience related to that topic and work on it this week.

We'd love to hear what experience you choose.
If you'd like to share, please leave a comment and tell us what you decide to work on!

For me, fasting is something that I need to persevere through better. There are 2 value experiences related to fasting that I'm going to work on this week: Faith #3 and Integrity #6. I thought this would be a good time to work on them with Fast Sunday coming up next week.

Fasting has always been something that is so hard for me to do. But, tommorrow I am really going to try and do it!
