Pioneer Trek

Trek was this past week. It sounds like it was a great experience for those of you who went! I want you to share some of your favorite trek experiences with us here. For those of you who didn't go, what is one of the qualities you admire most about the pioneers? I am excited to read about all your thoughts and experiences!

I really admire the faith the pioneers had. They were willing to sacrifice everything they had including there lives for some of them to get to this valley. What courage it must have taken! :)

with the experience last week, i had a little taste of the conditions that the pioneers had to suffer with every day! but their love for God kept them going and i truly admire that.

I loved listening to your Trek experiences today in church. It brought back many memories of when I went as a youth. I had can remember vividly some of my experiences and feelings- particularly during the women's pull. Thanks for sharing your testimonies and reminding me of my own.

Trek was one of the most spiritual things I have ever done in my life! I loved it and am glad I can go one more time before I'm too old. The pioneers went through a lot and I am truly grateful for what we have in this life.
