Sub For Santa

This month we are combining with the Young Men to do a Sub for Santa service project. It will take us 3 weeks. The first week, we'll divide into groups and go shopping for the families. Then, the second week we will wrap the gifts. Finally, we will deliver them and visit with the families on the third week.

Here is a little bit about the families:

The Sosa family are new converts to the church. They have 2 girls, ages 1 and 2. The dad has recently lost his job, and the mom works at a hamburger place up in Bountiful. They are very grateful to have found the gospel and are excited to have us help them with their Christmas. They are hoping to get some clothes for church because they don't have any.

The Astorga family have been members of the church for awhile. The dad is in the branch presidency. They have 3 little girls, ages 10, 7 and 4. The dad is also out of work and they are struggling to make ends meet. They didn't think they would have a Christmas at all.

We are so blessed to have so many wonderful things in our lives. I am really looking forward to helping these families out and sharing the Spirit of Christmas with these families.
